Your involvement in our community brings us closer to the goal of building greater awareness amongst our peers and colleagues of relevant programs, issues and opportunities that serve women in games.

Online Communities
There are numerous ways for you to be a part of Women in Games.
  1. Discussion Board: Dive into the Women in Games Discussion Forum and participate in lively discussion about the latest workplace and marketplace topics. The IGDA hosts online discussion forums to facilitate peer-to-peer communication and the sharing of knowledge. Representatives from WIG SIG help to moderate the forum.
  2. Mailing List: The Women in Games Mailing List is an unmoderated group participating in discussion on the topics that affect women game professionals at all levels in the interactive entertainment industry, from industry leaders to students. The list is open to all individuals who are interested in participating. This list supports the WIG SIG's goal to support women by providing an open forum for discussion of issues about women in the industry, including career development, education, mentorship, corporate trends, career networking, game products, workplace equity and upcoming events and activities.
  3. Facebook and LinkedIn: Join our IGDA Women in Games 'groups' on both Facebook and LinkedIn. Connect today to help build our online community and advance the objectives of our organization!

  4. Flickr Photo Group: Share photos of relevance in the IGDA Women in Games SIG Flickr group!
